How it works
From “we should fix that” to a workable plan
A straightforward process keeps the job from becoming another project you have to manage. Here's exactly what happens, start to finish.
Send the list
Describe the problem in your own words — what's happening, where it is in the home, and the result you want. A few wide and close-up photos help with planning. You don't need to know the trade name or diagnose anything.
We review scope and flag any limits
Every request is reviewed before anything is promised. If the work is straightforward handyman territory, great. If part of it belongs with a licensed electrician, plumber, structural pro or windstorm inspector, that's said clearly up front — and we can usually handle everything around it.
Confirm timing, materials and expectations
Once the scope is clear, we sort out timing, who's supplying any fixtures or finishes, and what the finished result should be. Confirming model numbers and details in advance prevents delays on the day.
On the day: protect the space, do the work
The work area is protected, mess is controlled, and the job is done to the agreed scope. If something unexpected turns up behind a wall or under a fixture, you hear about it before we press on.
Test, walk through, clean up
The repair is tested, the result is walked through with you, and the space is left clean and ready to use — not a project you now have to tidy up after.
Add to the list any time
Noticed three more things while we were there? That's exactly what a punch list is for. Small jobs are efficient to bundle, so keep the list coming.
Make it easy
What to include in a request.
None of it is required — but the more of this you can share, the more useful the first reply will be.
What's happening
The symptom in plain language — it drips, it sticks, it's loose, it's cracked.
Where it is
The room and rough location. 'Under the kitchen sink' beats 'a leak somewhere.'
A few photos
One wide shot for context and a close-up of the problem go a long way.
The result you want
Repair it, replace it, or 'just make it stop' — whatever the goal is.
If a repair needs a licensed trade, a permit or a specialist, that’s identified before the work moves forward — never after.
The list is not getting shorter
That's the whole process.
No jargon, no runaround. Send the list and we'll take the first step.
